Is life getting harder, or is it an illusion?

As one who longs for the days of old when a people lived by a code of truth honor and justice, and their word was a bond stronger than any legal document. A time when family was everything and a man was nothing without his code and family surrounding him.

Everyone knew their neighbor and treated them as though they were family. while it’s true that life appeared simpler, and maybe it was without all the technology that we have today. But if you were to ask your grandparents, they most likely would have said that life was simpler when they were kids as opposed to their later years in life.

I think it’s safe to say that each generation thinks life was simpler when they were young. But as they grew older life became more difficult. Maybe it’s just part of growing up and older. There are only three things that will remain the same.

1. First and foremost, as he always remains the same

2. Time passing by

3. Change as everyone and everything changes with the passing of time.

Did you ever stop to think about what is happening around the globe and ask yourself why?

As the number of people living on this planet grows so do the complications of living grow. With more and more people interacting with each other on a daily basis. Life is going to get harder with more violence, diseases, poverty. While the population is growing resources are not. In fact, the opposite is happening. We are depleting our resources faster than they can be replenished. Then you add the covid into the mix plus all the wildfires, hurricanes, and other natural disasters that have been going on over the past few years.

Don’t you think someone is either trying to tell us something or punish us. The long and the short of it is that we as a whole race (Human Race) need to wake up to what’s going on all around us.

Throughout the bible stories whenever people turned away from GOD things started happening that was not very pleasant for them. If you choose not to believe me, you have three choices.

1. Look up and read the stories for yourself. Which I suggest you do no matter what you believe.

2. Ignore the bible and what I am trying to tell you.

3. But the most logical thing to do is to get down on your knees and turn your heart to GOD.

Remember God never promised that you would not have any troubles. Troubles and trials are Gods way of not only testing us but strengthen us. What he does say in

Matthew 11: 29

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls

Galatians 5: 1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1 Timothy 6: 1

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honor, that the name of GOD and his doctrine be not blasphemed

Here are some other verses I suggest you take the time to read.

· Ephesians 3:13–21 and 4:12–21

· Philippians 4:13–14

· Colossians 1:10–21

In conclusion:

I not only feel but know in my heart of hearts. That until people turn away from sin and put God back where he belongs. It’s only going to get worse here on earth.

I am not talking just about attending a worship service every Sunday but making God the center of our lives. Offering him praise all day long every day. No matter if we are at work or play. Teaching our young and sharing the great news about Jesus Christ everywhere we go. NOT JUST LIP SERVICE!

Remember there are a lot of different ways to praise and be of service to him. Quite often actions speaks volumes. We must start showing love and kindness with every turn we make.
